Antique Milton Bradley Games
Milton Bradley was the man behind the company that designed the Game of Life, which was originally called The Checkered Game of Life. Instantly the game was a hit among consumers and in just 2 years it sold over 40,000 games. The company was officially established in 1860 and throughout its life acquired a number of other companies before it was acquired by Hasbro in 1984.
Some of Milton Bradley's other successful games include: Yahtzee, Twister, Perfection, Quiz Me, Uncle Sam's Postman Game and Operation. Other successful toys created by Milton Bradley include the Bumpalow buildings which include the Bumpalow Store, Bumpalow Cottage, Bumpalow School, Bumpalow Garage, and the Bumpalow Church.
